Dreem is a product without precedent. To ensure it reaches its full potential helping people around the world sleeping better, we need to understand deeply how our customers use it, what they need, and who they are. With the data analytics team, you will contribute in hand-picking useful insight in a large pool of heterogeneous data. Beyond analyzing the use of the current state of the product, you will take part in designing and implementing large-scale remote tests which allow us to optimize our existing service as well as refine and validate future features of the product.

Tame Rythm’s rich and diverse data to provide key insights:

  • Understand in details the product and services around Dreem along with the various streams of gathered data (profiling data, usage data, app data; technical data etc.).
  • Investigate crucial questions about our current product usage, clients’ satisfaction, client profiling and service efficiency.
  • Share your work with reports, presentations and dashboards

Participate in large-scale, remote-testing and optimization programs to improve and expand our services:

  • Participate in test protocol design and implementation.
  • Monitor tests deployments and progress and participate to test management tool’s specifications.
  • Take part in test results analysis and communication.

Profil recherché

  • Engineering degree or MSc in applied mathematics, data science, bio-informatics, quantitative psychology, quantitative social sciences or similar fields.
  • Alternatively, more business background with strong analytical skills and experience in quantitative analysis are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in analysis/modelling/experimentation on complex systems is a plus.

Besides a strong analytical capability, it is crucial to be able to work in a highly interdisciplinary environment, making yours the challenges faced by several teams on as diverse aspects of the product as UX, UI, App, Marketing, Customer success, and sleep research.


Technical requirements

  • You have scientific Python programming skills within a collaborative environment (code maintenance, documentation and architecture). Alternatively, you have good knowledge in R or Matlab with notions of python.
  • Experience and/or training in applied mathematics, scientific research or data-science is a plus. If you have a different background but have some analytical experience and are interested in developing scientific and technical skills, you are welcome to apply as well.

Personal requirements

  • Critical thinking, endless curiosity.
  • Solid work organization and autonomy, working in an agile management environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.


  • Database systems knowledge (Django db, PostgreSQL, noSQL systems etc.)
  • Knowledge in any of the following: data science, cohort analysis, mixed-data statistics, multivariate statistics, time-series analysis, design of experiments, survey design and analysis, clustering, multivariate non-linear optimization.
  • Distributed computing (e.g. map reduce, elastic search, Spark, Hadoop etc.)
  • Data visualization expertise.
